I live in Hanam-si directly east of Seoul. I'm leaving for an overseas trip this Wednesday, but the airport buses don't run on a very convenient schedule for me (first one's 5:40, then the next one's not until nearly 11...). Since my flight's just before 2, I'd prefer to get there a couple of hours early which isn't possible with the 11 o' clock bus. What are some places in east Seoul that run on a more frequent schedule? I wouldn't mind paying the taxi fare to one of those places and taking the airport bus from there.

The airport bus(6002) from Cheongyangni(line 1, and intercity rail) leaves every 10-15 minutes from 5:30AM on. Its 9,000 Won. About 80-90 minutes. You could make your way to Pal-dang(팔당) just across the river and take in the intercity train to Cheongyangni in 34 minutes.

Or you can cab it to Jamsil where airport buses also leave frequently.
