Just got back into town, need a cheap place to hang out until I can find a new job.

The Arirang Hotel is way to much money for the grungy room.

Any thoughts?
Cheers

If you are in daeyeundong, I would suggest the Cho Won (korean name)/ Green Park (english name) motel.
It is located near Daeyeun Subway Station.
Exit number 4 (I believe. The exit just past the underground cop shop.) Go down the alley next to the LG 25, turn left at the first cross alley and boom there it is.
Stayed there a few times.
Last time I was there the price was 25,000 a night.
An older place to be sure but the house crew are really nice and the rooms are clean.
Just be sure you get a room on the backside of the building or else you will be woken up early by the sound of clanging gas tanks.

If you would like to go as far as Haeundae (it's on the line) it's a nice area with some western restaurants, and a good number of cheesy love hotels for around 25-30,000 near the beach.
