Just want to do a quick survey. As I heard many adverts saying Seoul is the soul of Asia. So would you visit Korea as a holiday?

One of my closest friends lives here, so most likely, unless she cares to join me traveling elsewhere.

I wouldn't make a special trip, but since I want to save money, I'm staying here for summer vacation and I plan to make the best of it by seeing some of the things that I never find time for on the weekends.

I wouldn't be opposed to visiting Korea again in the future. Much rather visit other countries I haven't been to first though.

So many places to see

I've been on 'vacation'/at home for two months, and I'm returning at the end of August, and I can honestly say that I've missed it every day since I left. I realize that this probably wanes over time, but for me, my year was one of the best of my life. I think I'd love to visit a few times once I'm gone for good.

I went to a bar in Thailand where a single Baileys was 1,500 Baht. As in, 30. As in, $45. I don't care how good their beer is. If they're selling Baileys at that price they'll never find me living there.

Are you that unfamiliar with the pricing variety in Thailand? There's a sucker born every minute so Thais sometimes jack prices for the naive holidayer. There are plenty of cheap bars in the Land of Smiles, and for 1,500 baht you can get a night's accommodation, a bottle of Bailey's and a woman to drink it off of. Spend a month or two there and see how far your money can take you: waaay farther than here in SK.

I might come back to visit friends...but as a vacation? Haha. Why? You only get so many vacations in your lifetime. It's a shame to waste one on Korea.

It seems most NETs don't really have Korean friends, or at least good friends, so why come back?

That would be my biggest draw on coming back, to see my friends.

I would consider going to Jeju for a week or two holiday in off peak season IF the flight was cheap. If not, why not go to Hawaii.

Yuck, pay for a filthy infected trollop who may have previously been a man to pour milk based alcohol down her sweaty and perfume drenched chest? Sounds cool! Sign me up!
