So here's the deal

Off back to Korea in 10 days (fingers crossed with the visa process). it's my 2nd year so i don't need to have an interview at the Consulate or anything.

I was wondering from when I take my Korean visa issuance number and all the stuff to the Embassy in London how long does it usually take them to process. I will get my visa number on Thursday and will be in the Embassy on Friday.

If i remember correctly then last time I took it on a Wed and I could collect my visa on a Friday (so 2 working days)
This seems short in hindsight. Is this normal? What have your experiences been?

I'm not too worried about it being a few days longer but it would be great if I could get a midweek flight and be back for the weekend before work!

Im waiting on a visa issuance number. My first year it took 9 days. That's what they told me it would take and that is exactly what it took. This time, they're telling me it will be 16 or 17 days (don't recall exactly) but I had planned to leave on the 17th and they told me I wouldn't even have the issuance number until then! UGH

Anyway, my visa last time was same day service I believe. Included a return FedEx envelope and I got it back two days after I had dropped it off. But that's in the US, don't know about UK
