I work on the internet so this site is on my computer for about seven hours everyday. Of course, I'm not reading it that whole time. I probably look at something every half hour. I don't usually come here on weekends though since there's no connexion at my house currently.

I'm the same as Zed kind of.

I don't work so if I'm at home I just leave this on and flick in and out during the day and if something grabs my fancy post. It seems like I'm on here all the time but I probably only look at this for about an hour a day.

I can't just sit and watch television, so I jump back and forth. Ditto class prep and grading. I'll do something here, go do some work, and come back and see what has transpired in my absence. I would really have a hard time saying exactly how much- some where around too much and time to get a life, at times.

Got to pollute the airwaves somehow...Far too many...

One suggestion though...can we have a spell checker on Daves so it doesnt make us look too bad when we post because we are meant to be mainly teachwers...

I teach on the Internet as well.. so guaranteed 7 hours of being at a cubicle. Daves is generally on in the background.. as well as all the latest newsstories.

When I go home after work.. if I'm not going out.. I turn it on again. I don't really enjoy staring at TV or playing computer games either. I generally prefer reading something or another.. and this seems to capture my attention part of that time just fine.

Its also somewhat of a social pasttime. If you are a social person and enjoy interaction with the human race, this seems to be a nice alternative to going out most nights and getting yourself blasted (another favored pasttime).
