Hi everyone,
This is my first post on this forum and I wanted to reach out. I'm coming out to South Korea Aug 19th and I was just wondering if there was anyone else heading over soon. I'm coming from Rhode Island (Leaving from Boston) bright and early on August 19th.
Also, I find this weird but my contact with my school informed me that the bus at the Airport doesn't have room for luggage... I don't understand how that makes sense since the bus is picking up people from an airport and these people are going to have luggage. At this rate I'm going to have to find a taxi to get to my school...
Anyway, I hope everyone is having an amazing night/day

Hi There,
The buses from the airport I have seen to other cities all have a luggage area designated under the bus. The driver or you can access this and put things under.
I might depend where you are going. If in Seoul then there is likely to be no such area.
Good Luck |

First of, Welcome to Korea (almost)!!!
Yeah, it doesn't make much sense. It sounds like you might be in one of Seoul's satellite cities. The airport bus to and from my city doesn't have a luggage space either. I basically haul my luggage to my seat and creatively take up the whole row.
That being said, is your school having you find your own way to your city? Do you have anyone meeting you? That can be kind of confusing, although not impossible to figure out, as there are information desks conveniently set up that do have English speakers manning them.
A taxi would be easier and more comfortable but would cost upwards of $60 (60,000 won) if you're willing to pay that much. |

Hi! Thanks for the reply
I'm meeting my manager at a bus station. So, I have to navigate myself from the airport to Bupyeong Station. Shouldn't be too difficult.....I might just settle with a taxi. At least I'll have it to myself and I know I won't miss the stop! |
