| Plane takes off on the 27th...a Friday, at 11:30am. Seeing it's a Friday morning, should I take the limousine bus, the subway, or maybe check into that "airport check-in" place by the COEX mall? About how long does it take for someone to go from the bottom, middle of the green loop to ICN via subway anyway? |

| The airport bus stops at the front gate of SNU Shillim-dong campus. I have no experience with the subway, as it wasn't completed the last time I left Korea, but the bus is painless. No transfer, no problem with luggage. |

+1 what NilesQ said.
Dont take the subway. If you have experienced transferring on any line before, you'd know that moving between lines is hell. You are better off avoiding it as you will have luggage and no one to help you.

I usually recommend the subway, but not in this case... it'd take you somewhere betweeen an hour and a half to two hours, and you'd have two transfers. Also, Line 2 is hellish at best.
Like others said, go with the bus. |

| The airport bus that stops right by SNU subway is really slow. It makes many stops along the way. If you take a taxi to Yongsan and take the express bus it only takes about 45 minutes. |

There are as many different ways to get to the airport as there are posters on this site. Each person probably takes a different way too...
I'd just take the nearest airport bus to your apartment. They're comfortable, fast, cheap (by going-to-airports-in-other-countries standards) and frequent. Especially if you have that early morning flight. The bus will get there in about an hour and a half I'd guess. |
