Just wanted to get your opinions on whether I'd be better off buying the mini DVI to HDMI adapter, or Mini DVI to DVI adapter for my macbook.
I'm going to run it to a 삼성전자 싱크마스터 (Samsung Syncmaster) 2333HD.
Also, any opinions on this monitor? |

There is no differences in video quality between HDMI and DVI. The only difference is that the HDMI can also play audio whereas DVI not. I recommend HDMI as it's more compatible with home theater systems and TV's. |

Ha Ha, I should get a few. I'm pretty much just getting this for better movie watching.
So the HDMI supports audio but the DVI doesn't. Am I to assume then that regardless, the mini DVI to HDMI will not play audio because it's originating from a DVI port? |

| that is correct, you will need to run audio out from your speaker jack on the computer. |

Yes, but i still recommend the HDMI because a lot of HDTV's do not have DVI's (they do have VGA) so if you play movies on your HDTV from your laptop like i do, you'll want the Mini > HDMI.
For audio i actually got an iPod audio cable that runs from headphone jack to RCA (red/white). Slightly better (debatable) quality would be to get a home theater cable with gold plated. If you have a PC laptop that has optical audio out than of course go that route. |
