There are claims that there is so much anti-Israeli bias, but AIPAC is a foreign lobby, but is not labeled as such, though in the past it's original organization was forced to identify as such. Arabs can go to jail if money somehow goes to Hamas even if it entails helping a hospital, but if Jews use the tax code to send money to settlements in violation of international law, nothing is done.

Israel is an occupying power that has 10,000 plus Palestinians in jail, but
one Israeli soldier, Gilad Shalit, is treated with more importance in the media than the 10,000, which includes minors who have never had a trial.

Apparently that 10,000 plus includes 2700 plus imaginary prisoners

You'll notice also that the author of this report is both a Palestinian AND a former prisoner...so if anything the numbers would not be downplayed/whitewashed.

On another note..we've gone through similar scenarios before a couple times...could you please either check your facts or post a link to your info?
This way we don't have to keep doing the same old dance where you post sensational claims and I provide a link or two which debunks them.

Thanks.

You could reasonably make the claim that everyone in Gaza is a prisoner given their restricted movement, the restrictive embargo and the armed guards everywhere.

Only that's not what we are talking about. We're disputing the numbers who are actually in a prison cell. But if that is the argument you want to make, the 10,000 is still wrong anyway since according to wiki the population of Gaza is around 1.5 million.

Not to mention that your claim is wrong on the face of it to begin with since "everyone" would include Abbas and his entourage who have visited dozens of countries since 2005 (some of them repeatedly). "everyone" would also include the tunnel smugglers who seem to run pretty freely back and forth from Egypt.
