Dear All,
i need some information on Change of Employer.
i am working in an Engineering company since 2008 with E7 visa.
i have a offer from another company.
my contract is going to finish in Oct. 2010. my employer is agree to renew my contract but i am not interested to cont.
some of my friend inform me for getting new visa it will take around 1 month.
i am worried about what to do?
because as everybody know there will be one week vacation of Chusak in next month.
please suggest me.

Hi There,

Is your new contract E7? Maybe if it is you can extend and just change the workplace but because of the vacation you will have to get the new company to get your information and documents together as soon as possible.

As long as you go in to change it over before you finish it's ok. But the time is needed to get the documents you need from abroad.

Check here in the english section. You could also call or visit the local immigration office to ask what you need.

On your final date you would have to prepare to leave Korea if the new job doesn't work out.
