Hi everybody, I'm searching on my own for an apartment and wanted to see if anyone could give me some advice. Basically, I have a good stipend from my school, and am living with my gf. We are looking to spend around 1 mill a month and anywhere from 5 to 10 mill in key money. Were also hopefully looking for furnished places.

The problem is, we saw some places over the last couple weeks and didn't take anything, now things have completely dried up. We've been working with several real estate agents, but it hasn't produced anything. The only things we have seen have been way back up the hills and completely unfurnished. Does anybody have any advice? I need to be moved in the next 2 weeks.

thanks

Mandy Kim, Realtor: 010 2781 5580. Not sure if you've tried her or if she still puts up ads on Craigslist, found my place through her there. Been here 2 years and she's great about liaising with the landlord etc. My place isnt uber modern or 1m a month, but 2bdrms, furnished and not stuck up a hill.

Her office is up the HBC road and round the corner, near Buy The Way.

Craigslist is a total rip-off.. I saw (well a Korean speaker) an ad for an apartment on Craigslist for something like 5 Million in key money and close to 900,000 for rent. The same one bedroom apartment was listed on some site on Daum for 5 Million key and 600,000 rent. I called and it was some European guy that apparently spoke the best Korean my Korean friend had ever heard.

Sounds like that particular guy/place was a rip. I'm sure you'd agree it's not Craigslists fault.

Not Craigslist's fault but you'll find alot of scammers on there.

And not to mention all the weird ads under women looking for men.. They all sound like prostitutes.

I'm moving out of my apartment next wednesday, in a good location in HBC. 1m a month rent and 1m key money. Nice place. I lived there with my girlfriend.

If you're interested let me know. I found it through Rex Realty and they are trying to fill it now.
