I need to get a prescription for a sore throat. I read some posts that you need to go to a clinic before you go to the hospital.
How does it work. I live in Mokdong so I was thinking of just going to the Ewa Women's hospital there.
Can someone give me advice on how to get antibiotics for a sore throat? Also if anyone knows any English speaking clinics or hospitals in the area. |

A friend of a friend got hives and went to Yonsei Severence Hospital and the doctor there told her it would be around 200,000 to 300,000 to get treated. She explained she didn't have that kind of money to spend as she was backpacking through Asia and on a shoestring budget. He recommended a small practive and they treated her for less than 50,000 I think. I would recommend having a korean co-worker or a korean friend help you find a small local doctor. They're much cheaper and if it's not life-threatening it's probably the best route. |

If you have insurance, go to a hospital. You'll have a better chance of having an English-speaking doctor or nurse. |
