Lots of great (as in BAD) advice here.

File with the labor board ASAP (tomorrow would be good).

Anything else may jeopardize your case when do you claim unless you plan to just walk away from it all and find a new job and accept your losses.

I hope you get your money, Tourist.

Even if he pays you the money he owes you, I wouldn't go to work anyways. If he hands over the 700,000 plus the 10% from a month ago, say 'thanks, now we're even.'

This guy has shown the willingness and intention to screw you. Now you have stood up to him, the relationship is forever soured.

Thanks Ladies and Gents, I've been in touch via my wife with my crooked boss. I told him I wasn't going anywhere near work til every last cent he owed me was in my account. That was an hour ago, it's 11:07pm now and still not paid. He has until midnight, the f**king pr**k.

That last part sort of shows the maturity level you have. (It also violates the TOS here...)

I am an F2 visa holder. I had an afterschool job. Month 1, paid on time. Month 2, paid a couple days late. Month 3, paid a week late. After month 3 I called them out on their BS. Month 4, not paid on pay day, me and the other foreigner sat in the office and said we weren't teaching until the money was in the bank or our hands. Month 5, paid 2-3 days late. Month 6, paid 2-3 days late. I quit with no notice. I warned them repeatedly not to mess with me, they didn't listen, so I quit.

There have been a few observations on here:

1) an afterschool job isn't really full-time...on an F2 you should be working more and have something to fall back on
2) you essentially did nothing when he took 10% illegally from your first paycheck...that set the bar for him knowing you had no spine, or were ignorant to how the laws work in regards to your F2 and work. You should have quit on the spot and took him to the labor board.

If he is getting money from the actual school, I would have talked to the school's principal and told them what the deal was and that you would let them fix the problem first...give a time line, then I would quit and make a fuss with the labor board.

F2 = you don't have to put up with corrupt mr. kims anymore.

Refuse to work another minute until you get all of your pay.

Get your money.

Leave and don't go back.

As others have said, this cycle will not suddenly stop but only get worse.

Stand up for yourself. Not teaching is what you can do to stop this NOW.

Potential job seekers would be happy if you named names. Which company are you working for?

The moment you were short-changed you should have stopped immediately. If you had of been working for them for 18 months and that happened you with that 10% nonsense you could have let it slide just once but on the second month you were setting yourself up for trouble.

It has happened to me 5 times in my time here where I haven't been paid in full (or not at all in 1 case). I stopped work that day and in 4 of the cases I got paid straight away and in 1 I didn't and just said good riddance.

You are better off without the stress......

Didn't go to work today, he didn't give me my money either. Next time I see him will be in court. Got a new job also (I had an interview last week), a much better one too. I will name names later, need to get more details first.
