| Is this place still around? Where is a good place for an American to meet other foreigners near Nowon? Thanks for any help. |

I went to dragon bar a few night ago for the first time and it seemed ok. I was there with some friends and it was a Tuesday or something, so I don't think it's really a fair test. There was a few tables of Koreans and some playing darts. The bar staff was nice and gave us a free shot of something. I would go back again if I didn't know about Metropolis.
I much prefer Metropolis. It has people in it almost every night and Friday and Saturday nights it is a good place to hang out. It has three dart boards and the owner, Andy is really nice. Standard prices and they have special nights. Wing night on Tuesday and Trivia night on Sunday @7.
Anyways, if you looking to party, Nowon is not the BEST place. But for a more relaxed night out and just to meet some nice westerners I can definitely recommend it. Sometimes my friend don't feel like going to the middle of the city and Metropolis is a good choice.
If you wanna meet up anytime just gimme a PM and we can exchange some info. We have a pretty good group of nice people that go out.
Directions: Walk down exit 2 stairs. Make a right as you exit. Turn left at the GS25. (I think it's the first left) It's on the right on the second floor, maybe a block down. |

| Hey, I tried to search for Metropolis but couldn't seem to find it on any search engine. Is it near Nowon? Thanks. |

| I found similar directions to Dragon Bar online so I wasn't sure which bar you meant. Every time I've been to Nowon it's either been to see a movie at Lotte or go clubbing with my gf and her friends so that's pretty much all I know about Nowon. Are you going there this weekend? |

| I usually hang out in ssangmun or suyu as there are better bars in both locations. PM me if you want to go tomorrow. |
