In case you didn't already know, Air Asia is going to begin flying non-stop flights between Incheon and KL starting in November. I've already purchased tickets for next year: 360,000 won roundtrip, including an upgrade for an emergency exit seat for the red-eye flight to KL.
Also, if you are interested in flying to Bangkok, Jin Air and Jeju Air have non-stop flights now. My girlfriend flew roundtrip in July for 290,000 won all in.
For the Philippines, Cebu Pacific is pretty inexpensive.
So, although KAL and Asiana blocked Tiger Air from coming awhile back, things are starting to look up. Granted none of these carriers is exactly first class and you should definitely bring your own comforts and food, but the savings is worth it. |

Shhhh!!!! Keep it on the down low, so the seats don't all get snapped up.
Just kidding. Pretty exciting news. Definitely a big plus for Korea. |

The short-lived special they had was amazing, but their regular price, I find quite underwhelming.
Anything seems cheap next to Korean Air. |
