So we have found and taken in a stray female small jindo mix. She is in need of a good home. I have made many posts about her on the animal rescue korea website, which I am including in this post. Please reply back if you are interested in adopting or know of any responsible potential dog owners. She is such a sweet girl that deserves a good life.

something tells me that appealing to an itinerant and transient population of foreigners isn't the best bet for a good home... |

Actually I think that foreigners will make better adoptive parents as I believe that most Koreans do not know how to treat and care for a dog. Also, many foreigners have made Korea their permanent home, or, this dog can be brought back to whatever country you are from. She is small enough to fly in cabin. |

what an ethnocentric mind, to think an outsider is better suited to own the mongrel than a native. such a jingoistic fervor... |

Please keep your unhelpful comments to yourself, or go find another place to rant- I believe craigslist has it's own section. This post is intended for people who care about animals and are willing to help one out. |

This thread is screaming for Mike Partlow.
FYI to the OP if someone claiming to be 'Mike Partlow' tries to take you up on your offer, don't even bother to reply.
I can see it now- It starts out with Good ol Mike offering to buy the dog, making calm reassurances and convincing the OP that of course he'd treat the dog wonderfully. In all likelihood it ends up with some sort of dog eating reference or pictures of his 'wonderful' trashed apartment and soju in the water bowl and half crabs from dwaenjangchigae for food. Perhaps he shows the OP pictures of his automatic dog walking device- some rickety contraption hanging out of the 24th floor window of his Korean apartment block.
Sorry this post isn't very helpful OP, but at least you now know to look out for Mike Partlow. |

I could take the dog and pass it on to one of my Korean friends! |
