Or how about the Sweet Potato Macchiato at Holly's Coffee? Has anyone tried the coffee at the new Taco Bell? It's 2,500 per cup, so that helps.

I tried the sweet potato latte at Holly's. A latte has a different definition here...it doesn't have coffee in it, it basically just tastes like hot sweet potato milk. Not bad, but not coffee.

Honey pumpkin latte at Soop Cafe near City Hall is my favorite. Unfortunately (fortunately?) not a chain place so only one location I know of in Seoul. Easy to find- across from the Starbucks at the back entrance of the Westin Chosun. Good sandwiches too.

Thanks for the tip. BTW, I didn't mean to make Holly's Coffee sound bad. I was just curious about a beverage made with sweet potatoes. Holly's has one of my favorite iced drinks made with White Chocolate, whipped cream, and chocolate chips.

I can't stand the latte's here! It's exactly that, warm milk.
Some of the drinks do sound amazing though, especially the seasonal ones they bring out. If only they could taste that good without the hundred of calories...
For me the Dunkin' Original is the closest thing to a regular back home.
It's a lucky day when I can find little creamers to throw one into an Americano or something.
Has anyone else gotten blank stares and had an incredibly difficult time (even when I speak proper Korean) getting any of the people at coffee shops to add a little milk to an americano?
I ask for a little milk and they just say 'latte', it's like it's the strangest thing I could ever ask for.

This is my dumb, petty Korea pet peeve. I go to Starbucks becuase they have that milk you can add yourself.

You've been in Korea for a long time, right?

When was the first time you ever heard of people drinking "sweet potato latte?"

(Please don't say "when I read this thread")

LOL, yeah they will never give you the option of adding milk to an Americano--but they always ask if you want syrup!

Starbucks has an odd mix of green tea latte and espresso. It's very good.
