BALL HOCKEY MANIACS, LEND ME YOUR EARS...

Canada Ball Hockey Korea (CBHK) is once again recruiting a few good men and women for our 6th Season of play which will begin in February. Old and new players alike are welcome to start registering on the www.cbhk.org website now.

WHEN: The 2011 Spring League will open up with pick-up hockey (free for rookies) on February 27th, 2011 and a rookie camp/pre-season tune-up on March 6th, 2011. Official league games will start on March 13th, 2011 and continue through to June 18th, 2011. Game times will either be from 12:00 - 14:00, 14:00 - 16:00, 16:00 - 18:00 or 18:00 - 20:00 every Sunday except for the Final Championship Rounds, which will take place on Saturday, June 18th.

LOCATION OF THE RINK: Sports Complex, Seoul. (Central and very convenient to get too.)

DIRECTIONS TO THE RINK AND LOCATION OF HOCKEY SHOPS: They can be found on our website - www.cbhk.org


CLOTHING/GEAR: Team Shirt and then whatever other exercise gear you feel comfortable in and running shoes. Nothing more. We RUN.


TEAMS, SPONSORS AND CAPTAINS:

Names of teams, sponsors and captains vary from season to season. Please refer to our website.


Please confirm your interest ASAP to ensure your spot in this league, as spots usually fill up quite quickly. Fill out the registration form on www.cbhk.org and make your league payment by Wednesday, March 2nd, 2011. The league is limited to 120 players.


REGISTRATION FACTS: (What You Get)

1. Eligibility for the Spring, 2011 Entry Draft which will take place on March 6th, 2010 at Big Rock Brewery (Gangnam). Each player will be drafted on to one of 8 teams.

2. Team Shirt.

3. Four months (February to June) of ball hockey INSANITY. 13 weeks (26 league games) of regular season hockey, 2 weeks of pre-season hockey/rookie camps and 2 weeks of playoff hockey plus a chance to play in the CBHK Spring National Tournament.

4. Weekly stats of all players (Goals, Assists, Points) and goalies (GAA, Wins, SO) displayed on our website.

5. Use of a stick, full goalie equipment (if you are a goalie) and world class rink facilities (boards/ official size nets/face off circles located on the site of the 1988 Olympic Games).

6. End of season awards banquet at Big Rock Brewery (Gangnam).

7. Discounted prices from our league sponsors.

Go out exit 7 and walk towards the big Olympic Stadium (not the baseball stadium. It has the rings on it - you can't miss it). As you near the stadium, walk around it to the right, up a ramp. Once you get to the top of the ramp, you'll see the rink in front of you, in between the Olympic Stadium and the gymnasium/basketball arena.

If you look on this map, it's right where it says "Entrance to standing seats"
