So this is my first post since arriving to S. Korea and it has been quite an experience. I just finished my amazing 3-week orientation in Jochiwon University, Chungnam and I'm finally here in Busan for one more week of training. It's the weekend right now and I would really like to meet some people at bars/clubs that could speak limited to good English (both Korean locals and foreigners, guys and girls) that are around my age. I am 22. I am also currently in the Pusan National University area in a hotel for this week before I actually settle into my housing.

1. What are some bars/clubs to meet Korean locals that can speak some English and what are some expatriate places? A mix of both is great too.

2. I'm also interested in meeting a girl that can speak at least limited English. I'm aware that in Korea there are clubs that are dance clubs and there are ones where you sit down in tables and have conversations with girls and have some drinks with them. I'm interested in checking out a place like this as there's no such thing back at home.

I would like to know exact venue names and the area which they are located.

Thank you so much everyone and Busan is beautiful and romantic. =)
Cheers

Hey

So I'm still just getting used to Pusan. But the areas to meet foreigners in the summer tend to be Haeundae, Gwangali and Kyeongsan UNi (SP?)

Good luck!
