The best comedy making new episodes this summer.

Take a stand up comedy act, show it, and then show the situations in life which spawn the act. No laugh track. Finishy.

I liked the first episode and was really excited about the season but have since lost interest. I found each following episode less and less powerful..they were funny, but not funny enough to merit a show. I think his standup is fantastic though, just doesn't work in a show, takes to long to get through a bit.

what was the joke from Letterman back when he was funny?

what best describes the summer sitcom schedule?

A) light breezy comedies to pass the time Smile
B) avant garde writers pushing pushing the edge of the genre Cool
C) a tragic waste of the human spirit Evil or Very Mad

I love this show. I do agree with it losing power, but crap theres just so much desperation a man can take...

I'm a big Louis CK fan. I loved Lucky Louis. However, I liked Louie better the first time it was done - the observational comedy of a working NY comedian with each episode starting with a piece of his stand up act - Seinfeld anyone?

Louie is a good show, just not great.

I downloaded and watched the first 8 episodes all in a row at the weekend. Excellent. Really enjoyed it.

Love the show. Have been a big fan of Louie for years and glad he's got another project. I really like the beginning of the second episode (I think) where they are playing poker and talking about the gay clubs around NY...just brilliant.

I watched one episode while I was at camp last week. My roommate gave me a few more and I haven't had a chance to check them out yet.
