Is there a cactus store anywhere around Seoul? |

If you head up Chongyangi toward Dongdaemun on the left you'll see a houseplant market. |

Some flower shops might sell small, potted cacti. There is a flower shop in the Hakdong subway station that sells them too. |

I've seen them being sold at some 7-11 type store for 3000 won. |

It's not that big in reality - there are maybe 3 indoor plant sections and I think there's one cactus place near the entrance to number 1. Could be wrong but it's easy enough to find anyway. Price wise, I asked about a huge one (around 7/8 foot) last year and it was 60k. |

I bought a couple cacti at Yangjae before, pretty much there is only one big shop, and maybe two smaller shops which include a few cacti, but the 1 big shop has the largest variety. Some of them are quite expensive depending on size and species. Is there a specific species your looking for or are you just looking for any kind of cacti? Some smaller flower shops carry a couple of medium sized ones. |

Nothing in particular, just a way to keep in touch with my native american roots.
Something that grows at a decent pace (few inches a year) but can fit into a backpack would be alright.
I also found a kickass cactus farm, the website is ilovecactus.com and they are located in Uiwang |
