Does anyone know of any horseback riding facilities in or around Bundang? I can't seem to find any useful information on the web about it.

| In defense of Bethy 22788, I've tried to use the search function myself to find threads that address questions I have, but it rarely works for me. Maybe it's my computer (don't think so) but when I enter a phrase or question or even just a word or two, often I just get a blank screen or a message that the page is lost. Just saying, she may have tried. |

Not only that, but when you press "back" top refine your search, it times you out like a bad child asking too many questions of the teacher.
ALSO, things change! Jesus, check out the "Then and Now" thread. This is Korea, and things change very quickly. |

Absolutely, Joe Boxer! I get kinda irritated by the folks who fuss at those of us who are new to the board and ask questions that have been asked before...
1) Things change - sometimes rather quickly and I don't want info from a two year old post.
2) This is a forum, kinda like a conversation. I want to have my own conversation with folks, I don't want to read someone elses! How would you feel if you showed up late to brunch with the girls and wanted to ask about the latest gossip and your friends all handed you the minutes from their earlier conversation and told you "We've already talked about that, here are the notes that our excellent secretary took - read them!"
3) I know how to use google! If I wanted to read a bunch of articles, I would. This is more personal. This is me talking to you, if you are bored with my question then don't read it, don't respond to it, and move on! Maybe someone else is glad to rehash it with me.
4) And the darned search thing doesn't alway work!!!

I know of one in Hwaseong which is about an hour away or possibly a bit more. It�s called Hwaseong Seung Ma Camp and the staff speak some English. Plug this into naver: 화성 궁평 승마.

I just looked into that bd blub link - looks like its about a mile or two east of the last subway stop on the bundang line... Anyone insterested in a little exploring maybe this weekend??? Let me know - I would sure love to try and find it!!! |

How would I feel if I showed up late to talk with a bunch of girls... Well, I'd acknowledge the fact that I am late, see where they are going with the conversation and jump in there. I wouldn't barge in and start asking questions that are sure to annoy them because they've already been discussed. If you want to have a "conversation," there are plenty going on here - they're called old threads.
I swear, if I read another "the search function doesn't work/sometimes works/rarely works" I'm going to punch a baby in the face. If you want to use a soapbox, pick a better topic that hasn't been addressed in a hundred different threads this week alone. |

If you go, could you please update the thread with your thoughts?  Especially if you are an experienced rider?! 
I would love to know if there are any places to ride around Seoul with good trainers that aren't afraid to push you. I have been riding since I was 11 (mostly saddleseat, mostly Saddlebreds, little bit of hunt) and I'm fairly decent I think. With the exception of the last few weeks, I haven't done much riding in the last couple of years, but it is starting to come back to me now. I doubt it would be possible, but I'd love it if I could ride a little when I get to Korea. My biggest problem is that I'm used to show horses, so the average lesson horse gets pretty boring pretty fast. |

there's a fairly nice, but small, stable in seoul forest. however, it looked like most people board there, so i doubt the school horses would be all that challenging. i talked to one girl there who gave me a brochure on some of the fees for a riding club there, but they seemed really high, considering the place. also, from the few lessons that i saw at the time, everyone looked low level. |
