It depends on my mood/the topic. Plenty of us are having fun arguing. It's something we can't do as much in Korea, so we vent here.
Plenty of threads are nice, though. I started one on ricecooker recipes, and only one person was a tool. |

Many of the long term people such as myself have not posted as much as we used to. It's another reason why someone got a fantastic idea to open our own board for people who deem Korea as their home, not just a place to make a fast buck. I've been around lately here, but as soon as school start back up, I'll likely not post for a few months. |

If you can find an English-speaking Korean, there are many topics you can argue over (fan death, Korean racial superiority, the toilet-paper-in-trashcan practice... etc.).
The fun can last for hours. |

Then again, you have lazy posters who ask "Hey, I'm going to Thailand, can anyone tell me how Thailand is?"
Like can't they search through the threads or do a Google search? |

Someone on this forum once said if Dave's were a real cafe, a lot of people would be going to the hospital. |

Hee hee. I honestly bet you find it hard to make new friends. |
It's not a big problem. People are a lot less likely to say totally idiotic things in person, and a lot more likely to (at least outwardly) just accept they're wrong when they do get called out on having said something stupid. |

It would be a bar brawl and at least half of the people would be drunk. |

Asking why people are so rude on the internet is like the old joke:
Why does a dog lick it's nuts?
Because it can. |

No, that's not how the social world works Fox and you know it. You go round 'calling people out' and telling them 'how it is' and they'll be like
"Man Fox is an annoying __________. Zero manners and a know it all."
I know it, you know it, everyone knows it. |

There are a few people here I enjoy being rude and obnoxious to, because they take themselves, and the internet way to seriously. I'd treat them the same in real life if they rubbed me that way in person. |

It's nice that you have opinions. As I said, I haven't had a problem. If anything, I find I do better socially when I speak my mind openly and frankly. I think most people respond positively to open, assertive individuals. It's just excessively insecure people that have an issue, quietly pouting about so-and-so being a know-it-all. And I can't say that bothers me.
Again, I'm sorry about your hurt feelings, but don't you feel you've made enough of a spectacle now? Am I going to have you following me from thread to thread pouting for the foreseeable future? |

wIt's Okay, my feelings really are not hurt I promise you. I'm not THAT sensitive.
Strange that you bring the subject up though, no?
You're shooting yourself in the foot here by doing exactly what you claim I'm doing and it's funny to me to get you to do it publically.
I'm only doing this for fun as I don't like the way (again not me) you condescend to people.
I made documentaries back home and I'm expert on letting people hang themselves with their own rope.
Being as smart as you are I find it strange that you automatically assume a binary either / or dichotomy which pits you the smart guy against me the non intellectual who goes round pouting at your facts etc.
I'll remind you that you were the first to display poutiness and turn it personal with your 'kiddo' remarks etc.
See?
Shocked? The self realisiation that who you imagine yourself to be doesn't match up with actuality?
I don't have to say anything about you or insult at all, you do it all by yourself with your own rope.
Carry on lad. Carry on. |

Never have I seen so many cliche, juvenile psychological ploys in a single post. |
