I am looking for a hotel in Seoul that has a jacuzzi tub, preferably for two. I'm not looking for anything wildly expensive but I would like something decent. Any suggestions? |

Nothing specific, but you should be able to find a love motel for about 70,000 that is nice and has a jacuzzi. There's a really nice one near my house in Anyang for 55,000 on a weekend, so I can't imagine Seoul being much more expensive. If you're not into love motels you're likely going to pay double that for a jacuzzi room, I would imagine. |

Lots of the love motels in Sinchon have them. I'm a fan of E'Zen.
Go out of Sinchon station exit #4, walk past On the Border and hang a left when you see the Family Mart (next to the movie theater). When you reach the back alley, make another left. It'll be the second hotel on your left. Decent rooms, clean, private, etc. Maybe 50,000 a night? 80,000 on weekends. Or you can get the "siesta rate" of 3 hours for 30,000 won. Have fun. |

Ha ha! Not looking for a "siesta." I'm looking for a place to stay for a few days over Chuseok and was hoping for a nice room with a jacuzzi. A love motel is fine as long as it's not seedy. |

Hotel Windsor at Doksan. Little bit out of the centre, but you can't beat the 2 person jacuzzi with the TV. opposite. W70,000, opposite Doksan Novotel. |

the W Hotel has nice big jacuzzi tubs with large windows overlooking the Han river. The hotel is excellent and the views are spectacular. |

Check out www.hotel365.co.kr for info on love motels all over Korea. It's all in Korean, but it shows places all over and tells you what the rates are, and what amenities are included. Lots of them have jacuzzis, but you may need to upgrade to one of the better rooms. Each site includes the address in Korean, so copy/paste it into Google maps to find out where it is.
I like IMT (It's Moon Time) in Shinchon. Their "special" rooms (특실) includes a jacuzzi for 65K on the weekends. Some are big enough for 2, some are not, so ask (월풀은 이인용 입니까?) or check out the room before you check in. |

This thread reminds me of the Eddie Murphy skit on SNL "James Brown and Hollywood Hot Tubs." |

Some good options. Where are Hotel Bobo and the W Hotel? Is there a subway stop for Doksan? |

I'd be shocked if the W runs you less than 175,000 a night. |

back when it was funny, cutting edge, and relevant.... so who's tanked further, SNL or Eddie, in the past 25 years? |

I would have to say Eddie. SNL still has its occasional funny moments. |
