I am a korean adoptee and I am an american citizen but I only lived in the US for 8 years and then moved to France. I will be 23 years old soon and will graduate from a 4 year university in southern France. I would like to return to Korea from August 2004 to teach english or eventually do another job.
Here is my profile:
- US citizen
- 4 year degree in japanese and international commerce from a french university
- advanced to fluent levels in 5 languages (english, french, korean, japanese, spanish)
- 1 year experience teaching in Korea when I was 18 and 1 year in Japan when I was 21.
- I can apply for an F-4 visa
Based on my race, university degree (french) and experience teaching what are my chances of getting a job in Korea? I want to avoid hakwons and would prefer public schools. How about getting a job teaching SAT or TOEFL? What are the requirements and how do I get into contact with these schools?
Thanks in advance for any advice or info.
