I have a question, actually many. There was a stray kitten stuck behind my apartment's mailboxes. It was there for a couple days, I didn't know until a few hours ago.
I fished it out after about 3 hours of being on the floor looking like a crazy foreigner.
Anyways, it kinda scratched me and bit me, I don't think it broke the skin. But, should I go to the hospital?
Also, I have the cat in my apartment because it was there for a couple days. I put it in a large box and gave it some tuna and milk. I'm going to keep it in my bathroom for a couple days, is that a good idea?
I'm going to take him to the vet tomorrow, its leg looks kinda crushed and maybe give it some shots.
If you can contribute anything useful, please help. |

#1: Yes, you may want to get it looked at just in case.
#2: How old is the kitten? If it only fits in the palm of your hand, a lot of extra care will have to be taken into effect with feeding and whatnot.
#3: Please look at this website. You can find vets in your area and perhaps someone would like to adopt the kitten. http://www.animalrescuekorea.org/

| Just out of curiosity, where do you live? There was one meowing its head off on my street (in Seoul, Jamsil/Sincheon area) for hours the other night. I kept going outside and trying to find it, but I had no luck. I've been thinking about the little guy/gal ever since, and it would be nice to know it made it. |

My sister in law, bless her heart, fished out a stray cat from a dumpster. She kept the little fella in her house. It was small but not tiny. It was fending for itself.
My advice, "leave it alone, it will be fine!"
Her response, "you have no compassion for animals"
Fast forward 1 month. The cat pissed, scratched, vomitted, and basically made a nuisance of its little self.
She returned it to the wilds of back alley livin'. I would suggest the same to you. Best of luck with that scratch...yikes! |

Totally agree, law of the jungle. If an animal is roaming the streets and looks well-fed, most likely it can take care of itself and wants no help from some human. |
