Hi,

I'm not so satisfied with my doctor of the past couple of years. Though he is a pleasant fellow and speaks good English, his attitude towards his work is such that you'd think he'd already retired.

Any recommendations (north of the Han River)?

Thanks.

go to the international clinic at Soon Chun Hyang Hospital. The doctor there is fluent and the staff are too(and attractive) Also there is almost no wait time for an appointment

The Dr. at the international clinic in Itaewon is a nice fellow, though consultations do seem to be a bit more expensive than a regular GP. Still a lot cheaper than NZ though.

What kind of problem? I really like the doctors at Cheil Byeongwon, but it's a woman's hospital so I assume that they deal with a limited set of issues...

This. Avoid the 'International Clinic' mentioned in Itaewon (and the one in Haebongchon).

Seoul National University hospital is nice (The one near Hyehwa station, exit 3). They have an international clinic with doctors who speak English, and if you need something a general practitioner can't do, they have bilingual volunteers who will go with you to see specialist doctors.
