This weekend I checked out "Culture Shock" Korea at a bookstore. Anyways. I looked quite quickly but the only thing I could see about this behavior was on page 80 and 81. It was mainly to me talking about doors in offices basically saying if you are in clinic and the nurse/secretary says go into it is consider customary to give and precursory knock before entering. It did not explicitly say office doors but I would guess they did not mean house doors too. |

It doesn't matter if you're atheist (as I am) or any other religion. It will annoy the crap out of them, and you're still using formal speech. |
