I have a 15" Powerbook G4 from 2005. It has a 1.5GHZ processor and 2GB Ram. The hard drive is 80gb. It runs fine and I have the install disks so I can have a fresh install for you. The install disks are for Tiger 10.4. The battery is the original so it does die in under an hour if you are using it heavily. The battery is the only thing that isnt in good shape. I can email/post photos if wanted. There are no dents or cracks. I have no idea where to even start pricing it, or if anyone would want it. if you do leave an offer or msg me.

How about 150,000? I would offer more but it sounds like I'll have to purchase a new battery.

You guys do realize this is a 6+ year old computer, right? You do know a 1.5Ghz single-core processor can barely handle anything these days - even stuff like Skype? You do know that Apple stopped updating Tiger in 2009, thus there have been no security patches since then - and even if you bought the latest OS release (Snow Leopard), it wouldn't run on this machine?

Unless you're a dealer in antique computers, I can't possibly see a reason for buying this. Yeah, I know, I'm being that guy, but seriously.

i'm not claiming this is a new comp or will give you the world at your fingertips. but it will do anything you need to get done short of playing games and some serious photo/video editing. it skypes fine and does everything i need it to. thanks for looking!

oh also 2010-2005=5.

I just replaced my G4 powerbook with the latest MacBook Pro, and as far as 90% of what I do, the G4 was just as good. Really the only difference is that Photoshop and Lightroom process faster. Sounds like a good deal to me!

I'd pay 250,000 if the battery was in good shape, but it's not. It'll cost another 50,000 to replace it (if I can). I was going to use it for school and to look cool in front of the kids.

185,000 won

I had typed up a pretty long response, pointing out all the glaring errors, half-truths and misdirection involved in both the seller and tndbr's posts, but you know what? Screw it. If someone wants to buy a useless piece of hardware that can barely run today's programs, that's their own decision I guess. Enjoy.

please enlighten us and tell me about how a computer, that you dont have and by the sounds of it have never used, runs all of todays programs. also the misdirection aspects of my post. i've said nothing misleading in the post. if i was misleading i would have never said the battery was in poor condition and just sold it and said too bad when the seller called me to complain.

thanks again for the bump
