| My wife (not Korean) has to get a Korean criminal background check done for her visa application for Canada. Does anyone know if their is a specific police station that we should go to do this or what the process is? We are in HBC. |

You can go to any larger sized korean police station - dont bother with the little shops on the corner type and it doesnt have to be in your neighborhood.
Go in and ask for it, give them your alien card, wait about 5 minutes, receive the CRC, leave.
If you dont speak korean, call 02-1330 and have them explain what you need to the first person you see when you enter the police station. Then just follow them as they take you where you need to go. |
