Can you do extra work i.e. business English, private students etc.. like in Japan or is it like countries like Saudi where your visa is tied to the job and you get deported if you do anything else? |

E2 visa:
You are sponsored by an employer and that allows you to work in Korea as an English Teacher for that employer only.
If you want more work, you can resquest permission from your employer to work at another location (another school) and get this registered with immigration. This second job has certain requirements attached to it (the income it can generate, the hours and the place you can work).
Any other work, including private lessons, is illegal for an E2 visa holder. |
