What do i have to submit for the Canadian criminal record check from now until the end of the year? Can I still use the Winnipeg police check? does it have to get a stamp from the Korean consolate? Can't I just bring it to Korea and have the Canadian embassy stamp it to show it is valid? That way worked before. |

...except when the agent sitting across from at the immi office says it isn't. I know one person so far who has had it denied and was told an RCMP check is required. Immi is a crapshoot no matter what the regs say. If you have the time, get the RCMP check to be sure. If you dont, other checks will likely be ok until 2011, but there's no guarantee. |

First you have to get a copy of your criminal record check notarized by a notary republic, then you have to send both the copy and the original to the consulate for them to notarize it. |
