Pick your parts.
Head over to the Seon-in plaza (across the tracks from yongsan station).
Buy the parts or custom order your machine.
Build your machine (or have it built for you (20k won)).
I personally like J-Tech but (left door, towards the end of the hall on the right hand side) but there are others who are equally as good). Most of the techs speak enough English to get by and they all speak tech.
If you want a legal version of windows 7 (English) installed, pick up a copy at the microsoft shop in the terminal building (the big blue one) and ask the tech who is building your box to install it for you (or do it yourself - it isn't rocket science).

but realistically, if you can't ride the subway and find Yongsan station (2 stops away from Seoul Station on the blue line) you are not going to be able to negotiate your way around a website for a sale on a high end machine in Korea.
Importing is not an option.
Go to your local e-mart, home-plus or hi-mart and get one off the shelf.

or you could buy my 1.5 year old gaming PC hehe with big ass monitor
plays crysis well and other 3d stuff. havent tried newer games yet because ive been using gaming laptop lately and decided to turn mobile

also yongsan is nice, but as a foreigner, you would need to go with someone who knows the area or a korean who can bargain for you.
very easy to get ripped off or get terrible service or even mugged/beat up from what I heard.
as for a website
gmarket.co.kr is the cheapest way to go about comp equipment, but it's all in Korean, needs a korean account to be used (kor friend) and electronics might be a little shady there.
i bought a lot of clothes on it, usually 10-15% cheaper than most korean markets, which is quite cheap.
when it comes to electronics, i would never personally order anything online in korea. you never know what you're gonna get in the box |
