|
|
So I just heard about the new visa requirements starting to come into effect and I'm wondering if anyone has any specific information for UK teachers who need to submit a NATIONAL criminal record check after Jan 1st if renewing their visa?
Does anybody know if we can still use the basic disclosure from Disclosure Scotland? It covers all convictions held on databases in the UK so is Nationwide.
Any information on who can provide this CRC & if Diclosure Scotland will still be okay to use. |

Thats great thanks. There isn't any info that I can find specifically for Brits but I guess that the CRC changes are mostly aimed at those from the US.
So would I even need to get a new CRC if renewing next year, since the one they already have an apostilled copy of my basic disclosure. I will be out of Korea for a month at the end of my contract and I understand you only need a new one if away for longer than 3 months. This sound right?
Thanks |

No you will not, if you work for a PS - they have just changed to a comp based network (assuming they were arsed to do it!). But if you are a private school worker....... who knows???
bless Korea.x
Sorry to throw your question up in the air, but I do not know the answer to it!
What I (do/know/seen) about Korea however is to get a SOLID answer before you do your stuff - ie NOT DAVES!xxxxx or ME btwxxx |
