|
|
The new Virgin Mifi is a crazy good deal. Unlimited 3G wireless with no contract. $40 a month. $150 to buy it. It is small enough to carry in your pocket.
My question is what the closest comparable product is that is available in Korea? I'd love to use some kind of portable wifi hotspot with my iPod Touch. |

The most similar product in Korea is the Wibro Egg from KT.

It works basically the same way as the mifi, but the prices might not be as good. Also, they don't offer any unlimited data option.
You can get 50gigs per month for 27,000 won with a 2 year contract or 49,000 won without a contract. |

It would be incredibly difficult to use more than 50GB a month on an ipod touch.
the egg works great, I've been using it for about a year now. |

Thanks for the suggestion. I know about the egg and I might get it. It just seems too big to carry around all the time, at least until winter when I'll have big jacket pockets. Is there anything more compact out there? |
