Two of us are going to Seoul tomorrow and are looking for the cheapest way to stay, since we are not receiving a paycheck until the middle of April.
Does anyone have any suggestions as to the cheapest place to stay? or looking for fun people to stay at your place Saturday night? two canadian teachers will buy you dinner!!!!!
Thanks for the input |

Actually, it's sort of under the Hamilton Hotel. But staying in a Sauna is about as cheap as it gets, if you don't mind sleeping in a lighted room on a little mat with tiny blankets with 20 Koreans spread out all over. It's like 7,000 won, I think?
I like to recommend the "Hilltop Hotel" at the top of Hooker Hill in Itaewon.
Why? Because it's about 20,000 to 30,000 won a night, and you get a real taste of the "real korea" as you walk up the hill hahaahaha..
It's cheap and clean. DEFINATELY no-frills.. bring your own soap! But it is clean enough, and that is important! |

I've had too many bad experiences in cheap Yogwans. In Itaewan I find the Seoul Motel to be pretty good. Small rooms but clean, and the staff speaks English. 45,000 Won a night. |
