Apartment. Before I had an internet connection, a Holly's coffee shop was my favorite hang out spot.

It's a real small Pocha style place, on the intersection of the shopping street and the one that leads towards the OI/Zen/the park. Just one fryer one tap and some plastic chairs outside. I'm not sure what their books look like but that place is wonderful.

Street Corner with stereo, a basketball, food, junk food, slurpees (daytime) brown bagged 40s (nightime), skateboards/parked cars, and plenty of game.

Sadly here in Korea the stereo, cars, and brown bags (plastic just isn't the same) are a no go. The junk food is a turn-off. And the game will get the locals irate and the police staring at us. Sure 10% of the time the game gets a bar meet-up for 'English Lessons', but 90% of the time we might as well be wearing trenchcoats.
