| I have been on the USO tour to the JSA/Panmunjom twice. I enjoyed it both times. It is a bit repetetive, but there are some interesting sights. I recommend at least going once, just to see it. But, for people who want an action-packed adventure, don't expect much. |

I have never been. But a facebook 'friend' has gone 9 times. Each time she updates her status message to inform everybody. using hangul. she also went to china and uploaded 472 pictures for a 4 day trip. |

| I did the USO DMZ tour last month with my parents while they were visiting. I have done the tour with and without the visit to the JSA and would recommend going for the full-package with the USO. You can book the tour by calling the number on the Kooridoor website. I only called a week in advance but my friends tried to call a few hours later and it was full. If you know your schedule I'd book sooner rather than later. |

Kim from USO also told me yesterday to use this website, but you can't do anything like book a tour and pay for it. I guess you need to call someone or visit the USO office in Seoul? I wanted to do it during Chuseok, but JSA is closed during that time. Kim said to look at the time on that website for available tour dates as the weekend after Chuseok is booked, but this info isn't on there. I'll post Kim's response as Kim just emailed me today with this info. |

I had some questions regarding the USO DMZ Tour, for those of you have been on it.
1) I was wondering why the price is so much higher for civilians ($35 vs. $70)? The rest of the tours offered by USO/Koridoor are only slightly more expensive for civilians but I don't understand why this one is twice the price.
2) Some of my co-workers said the price had been raised to $92, is this true? As much as I want to do this tour, I'm not even sure if I want to pay the $77 (incl. tax) as it is.
3) How can you check the availability of the tours and how do you actually purchase the tickets? If we pay in KRW how do we know how much we should we pay? All I have been able to find is this calendar from the USO site (posted below) which is hard to read and doesn't give much information. I am looking to do a weekend tour from 12-8.

| I believe the current price for the USO tour is 92,400 Won, about $85 or so. I thought it was well worth the money. I'm a bit of a history buff, but why wife who isn't thought it was worth the time and money to go once. |

Yep it's 92,400 which is about $77. Has anyone heard about DMZ tours from Seoul City Tour, I Love Seoul Tour, or WOW Corea Tour? All of these tours say they go to the JSA, which everyone says only the USO tour offers... |

| Glad I saw this thread before I decided to take another trip (not to JSA). Anyway, on their website I'm filling out all my info but there's a section that says "contents". It won't let me continue until I fill it out. any idea what that's supposed to mean? |
