I got paid today. Because of the way the billing cycle for electricity works, I only paid for 3 days of electricity. That was 4,020 won. According to that figure, a bill for a full month should be around 40k or so. How much are the rest of you paying? |

ok... wait lemme check again.
last month was 9,050. Where on earth are you guys living?
Although 5 a month for electricity does seem a bit bizarre. Maybe my boss is just paying most of it for me for some reason. |

If you are using that more than 20 minutes a day, i think its safe to say you are not paying for electricity individually. Maybe your building is on share pay. That's a steal.
I pay about 40-50K in the summer. AC 4-6 hours a day. 15 in the winter. I live in Seoul. IMO, its a very fair rate. |

My 45 pyung apartment with 4 air conditioners, 3 computers, 2 refrigerators, a dishwasher, Whirlpool washer & dryer, lights, etc. runs me about 350,000 won per month in the summer and about 100,000 - 150,000 won in the winter. Gas is about 40,000 won in the summer and 200,000 - 250,000 won in the winter. |

Sometimes 150,000 won..........if you get anything under 60,000 you're doing well. |

80,000, but my AC is on an average of 14 hours a day. Still pretty cheap if you ask me! Sorry environment. |

I'm a little worried about mine. I've been running my AC fairly constantly as I'm in a cooped roof-top apt. that gets real stuffy if I don't keep the AC on.
Have this nice digital read-out and can watch the numbers go up. was at 24 kwh when I moved in, and now not quite a month later, is at 170 kwh.
Anyone have any ideas of cost/kwh?
I know its a tiered scale and prices differ from region to region, but a general idea would be helpful to set my mind at ease(or maybe convince me to just buy a fan). |

Always hovers around 40,000 Won a month for me. I have a two bedroom apartment. And I run my AC about 10 hours a day (I like it cold as in my room). |

I've been puzzled how come I leave my air conditioner on 14 hours a day on full blast, plus air cleaner and fans and computer and other stuff and yet my electricity bill is consistently under 40,000 won a month in my apartment.

THAT could explain it! ... whew! I keep expecting some three hundred thousand won bill to be dropped off, a correction made.
My last place in another province had much higher electricity bills. |

Live in a one room, my electricity ranges from 4000won to 18543 won. It's the gas for the boiler and the floor heating that gets me in the winter. I've paid up to 80,000 won in the peak of the winter months, but the summer that gas bill goes way down to a few thousand won. |
