I've only been here for a couple of months and have no idea what fall in Korea is like, but I'm confident that it will be an improvement over the hot, sticky hell that is summer.
Seriously, I hate cold weather but I've spent the past month praying for 0 degree days and lots of snow. At least it's easy to throw on an extra layer or two if I'm cold. There's only so much I can take off if it's boiling outside. |

Don't underestimate the power of the Korean summer. A few days of a slight breeze is insignificant compared to the power of a Korean summer. |
Autumn will bring balance to the Summer and defeat the Darkside |

#1. Summer isn't over until the 21st/22nd of September (the equinox).
#2. September is hotter than June here (the month's average highs 27 C, lows 21 C, compared to 25 and 19).
#3. Koreans arbitrarily choose September 1st to begin fall and vacate the beaches even though the temps hit 30 C still. It makes no sense that they choose a solar calendar date pre-equinox; if they used the lunar calendar date, that would make some sense, but they use simple convention and treat it as iron law. So students are overdressed now and suffer in the heat. It's 29 C (feels like 33 C according to msn weather) today. That's summer weather. |

Summer is over when the temperature drops on a consistant basis. Yes we all know about the equinox. it will be in the 70's for most of this week as opposed to 80's and 90's, so to me, the hot Summer is over. The fact that I can have my class windows open all day is nice.
side note, it is only gonna be 25 in Seoul today with a light breeze. not 32 |

| All this talk of autumn is silliness. Korea has only two seasons, hot and cold. |
