Make me want to put on a red hoodie and throw puppies in the Han.

(Mind you I'm hungover and it's 1:30 pm)

Today, this moron that wanted to buy something from me. He texts me saying he wants to meet at Coex. He gives me a specific location, etc, I even leave 30 mins earlier for HIS convenience. Text him before I get off the subway and he says he's waiting. I arrive and this spineless troll isn't anywhere to be found, but has the audacity to send me a text telling me something totally different about the location after we agreed on a location.

rant over.

Anyone else had something similar happen to them?

Yes, people under 30 are generally morons. I'm guessing he's under 30. Either that or he's a lifelong neo-burnout.

I recently sold something via craigslist and got very odd emails as well. One guy offered me %40 of the asking price I'd posted. Absurd.
The flakiness that exists in the US & craigslist lives on in SK I'm afraid.

I've picked up quite a few items off Craigslist Seoul. Most sellers have been good. One guy canceled on me 3 times. I would have said screw the deal but my wife really wanted his blender. The 4th time he showed. My wife makes really good smoothies!

Maybe you were over charging. Why get your panties in a twist over someone giving it a shot?

Because the offer was absurd and I sold it for the original amount I asked for. Who's panties are in a bunch?

I bought a new blender for about 40K I believe and would not mess around like this buying a used one. Just my way of doing things.

Back in the States now, I have to watch my budget - but did not while I was working overseas.

You could get a cheap new blender for 40k, but a cuisinart or the like go for about 100k.
