Hey, I bought some pants from STCO, and they are not finished at the bottom, they need to be hemmed.
Where in the Sinchon area, like Sinchon or Hongdae, can I get them hemmed?
What should it cost approximately (so I don't get overcharged)?
And/or what is a person who does it, tailor/dressmaker/alteration service called in Korean (I can read hangul if you want to type it in that).

Thanks heaps!

The neighborhood laundry lady will do them for you.
Should be about 3-5k won and take (depending if she is doing laundry or not) 15 minutes to overnight.

I think you can get this service on just about every corner in Korea. Every dry cleaner will do this sort of thing for you.

I'm usually not one for calling someone out, but have you been here since 2008? and you are asking a question like this? This service can be found twice on any block in Seoul. In sinchon? There's gotta be dozens. Any dry cleaners and especially shops with 수선 signs.

Like everyone said around 5K, give or take a couple thou.

No shame in that.Perhaps he's never had to have it done before. I had no idea either and I've been here since '07.
