Keep hearing different things about this... I thought as of September 1st a diploma and/or a notarized/apostilized/whatever copy of it would suffice in lieu of transcripts.
I have two sealed envelopes of transcripts, but they're a couple years old. But I just read someone saying immigration is pretty chill about that, as long as they're unsealed.
Can anyone tell me for sure??? |

I had to send two sealed and stamped transcripts with my visa packet, and I had to bring one sealed and stamped transcript with me to my visa interview. Some places require two. Your best bet is to order four. I think the transcript thing is pretty standard. |

Oh...nevermind...I need to read new regulations....you said, "as of September 1st." It never hurts to have some handy though. |

Well September 1st is what I hear... you never really know with these things, though. |

Yeah, I'd get the transcripts just as insurance. After all, it takes awhile for regulations here to transition. |

Each school and recruiter are asking for something different - so I would say have transcripts just in case - and everything else.
It isn't just about the visa from the consulate - it is what the recruiter and/or school ask for as well.
Each one is asking for something different. |

Also of note: SMOE is saying that they will still require them, even though immigration does not.
Just as they require you to do a health check every year, even though immigration does not. Apparently the strain of working at public school makes you more likely to fail a drug test or something like that...joke is on us. |
