|
|
I am in Seoul using "C+M" Cable for internet.
Not sure when it started, but I cant connect to any secure websites.
I have searched several solutions and checked my firewall and "cleared SSL slate" on explorer.
I can't get SSL sites using firefox or Explorer, using my desktop with windows XP or my laptop using windows 7. So the problem is not tied to one browser, operating system, or computer. It seems the problem must be in the service provider. Anyone else having this problem?
Any ideas,
Thanks, |

Reset the modem and router (and computers), didn't help. Still can't connect to secure websites. |

Well, Its working now this morning. Something with the line I guess.
Thanks for that port 443 info, if I have trouble again I'll check my port forwarding configuration.
Thanks |

I had a similar problem and through some troubleshooting, I had inadvertently changed the computer time to last year. Because of that I couldn't log on to secure sites that use ssl. Worth a quick looking into. |

I'm currently having the same problem. Also using C&M.
This has been happening fairly frequently and tonight its actually a big problem because I have some time sensitive work to do which requires me to connect to an https site.
Forwarding ports does nothing. Directly connecting (bypassing router) does nothing. Tried on multiple computers. This is entirely a C&M issue. |
