I don't know if I had my contacts saved on the SD card but better to be safe than sorry.

My camera takes nice pictures. I never bring my point and shoot and hardly bring out my DSLR since buying the Desire. My case doesn't cover the lens. It is an open hole.

My SD card has never unmounted on me. It might just be your phone. I would go talk to an SKT representative about it.

I haven't had any problems with it but have only had it for about a month and a half. I can't wait until the unlimited data kicks in. Just received a text this morning saying it will activate on the 26th of this month.

The lens is probably a known design flaw, I've had it since May. I make take it back, they should be able to just swap over the cover. The photos are awesome without the cover.

The SD is a massive pain. I took it in but my GF didn't know how to explain the problem.

I'm on the 500MB plan, so I think I can't get the unlimited plan. I only use about 200MB a month anyway. What are you using 700 on?

Have you got it installed yet?

Just finished installing. A couple blips. My PC restarted in the middle of the process after the bootloader was added and that caused me to have to reboot my phone before doing anything else.

Now I'm just adding all of my programs to my homescreen and off we go!

All installed and my phone is smoother than ever.

I am on the 55,000W a month plan right now, which is 500mb. The 55,000W and up plans are going to be unlimited data on the 26th of this month. The 45,000W won't.

Last month, I used 450mb but that was due to me downloading apps as I just bought it. There is only one lower plan and it is 45,000W a month. I reckon 10,000W for unlimited data is not a bad deal.

When I bought the phone, it came with a clear, crystal case that has done its job. I wish newer styles came out, especially ones that cover the screen itself (like a flap).

kprrok, my computer had an error as well but it didn't cause any problems. I just had to restart the installation.

It was a pain having to re-personalize your phone but so far it has been worth it with the upgraded smoothness to the UI.

Liking it so far?

Oh cool. I'm on the 500MB plan as well. I must have not got the text or not read it properly (my Korean is kindergarten level.)

Wish the Rom would hurry up and download. 22 KB/S. Rolling Eyes

Finally got it going at midnight last night. Works great.

The browser is lightening fast. And it seems like the WIFI is stronger. ie, connects to my router at more bars.

Good you figured it out.

I agree, my internet is a lot quicker now with no hiccups. Before I had dropped 3G connections constantly but so far none.

For anyone else upgrading to Froyo from the instructions before, I highly recommend picking a US/European server as the Asian servers are bogged down at the moment.

Nope.

Part of the reason the updates take so long in the first place is that each maker has a different "skin." eg the touch whiz on Samsung and the Sense on HTC and a few others. The ROMs need to be customized for each skin.

Just upgraded my desire as well. The wife got the same phone for herself yesterday and they didn't update it for her at the shop. Either they didn't know froyo was out already or they didn't want the hassle of updating it for her. No probs syncing my contacts with the new version of htc sync on windows 7 64 bit. For those of you with unlimited data if you get an app called "tunein" you can listen to your favorite radio station from back home while on the road. Streaming radio of course eats the battery like nothing else but if you have a computer at work to charge the phone on then why not?

Anyone finding any bugs or having probs with the Korean froyo?

I can't work out how to turn off predictive text.

The word options flash up and down sometimes.

Easy to do go under settings language and keyboard. Click on diopen IME and untick show suggestions. Or you can do the above but under show suggestions click on detail settings. It lets you choose what kinds of suggestions you want like word spell check auto space and Jaso search (for Korean.) I noticed that spell check causes the most problems. I mean I couldn't even type froyo without it changing it to fry every time. It got annoying very quickly. After disabling spell check it seems to work the way it used to. Hope that helps. Smile
