So yesterday my internet was shut off for some reason. Turned on my comp, internet wouldnt work, kept redirecting me to the KT QOOK page. Called them up and they reconnected it.
But ever since it got reconnected, my computer has been running really slow at times. For example, sometimes it takes 10 seconds just to open a folder. Or to start up Google Chrome maybe 5 seconds. It was never like this before.
I know a good bit about computers, but really not sure what it could be. Its not Windows Update cause I have that disabled.
Really strange |

1. The best way to give your computer that fresh speed is to format and reinstall a fresh copy of Windows. If you can't do that, then do a virus/spyware scan.
2. Defrag. Clean out old crap you don't ever use. Uninstall programs that you no longer need.
3. Hit start, run, then type in "msconfig". Search through startup/services and disable anything thats obviously spyware or not needed (messenger programs, steam, etc). |
