If they're good, there's even less reason to want to play for them. You'll be spending your Saturday afternoons trying to do half-hearted pull ups on the rusty goal posts and picking up stones from the 6 yard box. It'll be like playing cricket as a new guy on the team, batting at number 11 and fielding on the boundary. Everyone else knows each other on the team already. They'll all say they're more interested in drinking than playing sport but really, they're desperate to win. You might get a couple of catches a game, which you're expected to get. If you get them you'll escape unnoticed, if not, they'll be three quarters of the team complaining how useless you are for the rest of the evening. While at the same time drunkenly going on about how it's all a bit of fun and shouldn't be taken too seriously.

By good, i mean can they score / convert on opportunities. No team that plays on SSL has a defense so good to the point where the keeper doesn't have to do anything. I don't mind playing on a team with a weak D and getting a lot of shots but it's frustrating when they can't score goals even on easy chances and the score ends up X-0. |

We are a decent side who have been around for a few years but like any sports team in Korea people come and go so there is no danger of someone turning up and feeling left out as we have constant new squad members. Especially as if they are a decent keeper they will be talking to the defense all day.

I'll do it, although I'm only 4ft 9. Will that be a problem? |
