Hey,

Have been happily working away for 2 months on my E2 visa. Yesterday I received my University degree back from immigration but not my UK police clearance or the apostille. Is this right???
Both these documents cost quite a bit and would be reusuable at the end of the year!!

Thanks

Yeah, sounds about right, I didn't get my CRC back, and I don't think anyone else does. The CRC is only good for 6 months anyway (at least in Korea)...so it wouldn't do you any good anyway.

It is standard procedure. They will always keep all documents EXCEPT an original degree. (your CRC must be less than 6 months old at the time of submission so it wouldn't be any good next year anyway).

(and now they now longer take original degrees so you can expect ALL documents to be kept from now on).
