Recently two things are: Students who spit in the hallway in the walking lane.
People who start threads about Korea life with the words "Anyone ever"
OOPS, kinda more Off topic, but it relates to something in school so i think it's ok.
Let me point out. This is not a Hate Korea or Rant thread, merely telling others what you find troublesome lately about anything.

Complaining. Are we? That spitting in the walk ways starts at an early age. You know the adjoshis do it everywhere else? This is one good reason why you check your shoes at the entrance. |

Everything is great so far here, but...people don't like to step out of the way whenever they see that you need by. Even after you have said, "excuse me." And I almost got knocked over today by a lady that tried to push me out of the way with her umbrella. |

It seems as though people in Korea have an instinct for getting in your way. Then you try to pass them and they mindlessly wander into your path again.
One time some little douche-bag kid was running when I was on my bike- he had plenty of room, but he wouldn't move over so I had to stop my bike so I wouldn't hit him. Then the little retard still crashes his face into my handlebar, full-speed. It knocked him over and I laughed at him and called him a moron but I was still angry that he was so stupid. That was almost two years ago so he's probably done the same thing to a bus or truck by now. Good riddance. |

Now THIS really grinds my gears. My, what an exhausting ride down the escalator. Here would be good be a good place to pause, stretch, and look around. |

So you are hoping a child was injured or killed by a large vehicle? Wow. Classy. |

If he's stupid enough to crash into a stopped bike at full speed then no, I won't shed any tears if he's stupid enough to get himself smoked by a bus.
I bet he got one hell of a black eye from that impact with the bike too! Maybe that gave him a wake-up call, but I doubt it.
By the way, what is with people getting in the way so much in Korea, or not getting out of the way even when danger is imminent? It's almost like it gets them off or something. |
