I often travel to the north side of the Han on line 3, and I was wondering if someone can help me with directions to something I always see when crossing the bridge. There's some kind of fort/hut/gazebo on the top of a hill overlooking the Han. Anyone know what it is, if you can hike up there and if so, the easiest way to get there? Thanks in advance |

you're not talking about namsan tower, are you? i'd think anyone would be hard-pressed to classify that as a "hut/gazebo," but... just a thought. |

I don't think proud Koreans would like you to describe one of their country's most well-known landmarks as a 'hut'!! |

Hahahah. No, I know Namsan tower! After some researching (Thank-you, Google Earth), I found out that it is called Eunbongsan with the Pavillion (I still don't know what to call it- gazebo?) on top. We walked up there today and took some pictures of the view. There is a subway stop with the same name so just walk out the exit and head towards the mountain. |
